Assistance
Ma’ruf Dallas strives to provide our clients with the resources they need to reestablish a sense of safety and security. We grocery boxes with Halal meat, hygiene products, and other essential items to those in need. For new refugee arrivals, our Welcome Packages include vacuum, blenders, cookware, kitchen utensils, bedding, blankets, carpets, and other items so they can feel at home sooner.
Education
We offer guidance to educational programs and workshops that teach our clients how to better manage their resources. We provide comprehensive ESL, drivers education classes, and one-on-one personal finance/budgeting sessions for clients, so they can drive safely and gain independence.
Our goal is to ensure everyone has the knowledge needed for making informed decisions about their path.
Employment
Clients are offered assistance for resume building and job searching needs. Case managers discuss a range of job opportunities from reputable employers across various industries to match the skills and experience from their origin countries. We follow up with application processes to support through employment.

At Ma’ruf Dallas, we recognize the significant transportation challenges that refugees frequently encounter. That’s why we’ve developed a dedicated car and bicycle program specifically for new clients, providing access to bicycles or cars tailored to their individual needs. This program requires at least six months to complete and is designed to support refugees with reliable transportation for essential activities like work, school, and daily errands. Our goal is to ease the financial and logistical strains that often accompany resettlement, helping clients navigate their new lives with greater independence and ease.
Training for the Future
The Training for the Future (TFF) program is designed to support individuals who are interested in pursuing careers in high-demand fields like HVAC, electrician work, and medical assisting by offering full scholarships to trade schools. TFF is designed to help individuals gain the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in these growing industries, which offer stable + well-paying jobs with opportunities for advancement.
The program provides more than just financial assistance – we also offer mentoring, career counseling, transportation assistance, and job placement support to help our scholarship recipients succeed. Our goal is to help individuals achieve long-term career success and financial stability.
